ENTRY DEADLINE SATURDAY, MAY 13TH. The Beverly Art Center’s 5th Annual Digital Photo Contest, hosted by the BAC Young Adult Board and open to ages 21-35. Fri., May 11th Boy Scout Troop 788 annual Spaghetti Dinner 4:30pm – 7pm at Christ Memorial Church 2440 York St.  Bake Sale and Raffles including 4 vouchers to White Sox game, Wine tasting for 4 at Cooper’s Hawks, 2 tickets for Chicago Wolves, and gifts certificates for various restaurants.  Dinner Tickets $6, children 4 and under free.  Carry outs available.

Sun., May 20th,, 42nd Annual Beverly Hills/Morgan Park Home Tour including 5 outstanding homes and a Gothic church.  Self guided, bike or Trolley tours start at the Beverly Arts Center 2407 W. 111th St. Chicago 11am to 3pm.  Homes are open 11am to 5pm. Call 773-233-3100 for advance tickets $25.  Tickets at the door $30.  The Trolley is an additional $5. Trolley times are 11:30, 12:30, 1:30 and 3:00.

May 30th through Aug., 1st.  Original watercolors, oils, printmaking, sculptures, ceramics, photographs, and mixed media are needed for Moraine Valley Community College’s Gallery 2012 Community Art Show. Accepted works will be on display in the Robert F. DeCaprio Art Gallery in the Fine and Performing Arts Center on campus, 9000 W. College Pkwy., Palos Hills. Sun., June 24th, 4pm  Fourth annual Interfaith Day of Prayer to Heal and Renew the Environment.  People of every religious faith are invited to meet at the Cal Sag Waterfall in Blue Island. There they will celebrate an interreligious and highly participatory ritual of spiritual cleansing and renewal for the water, land and air of our planet.
